Good morning, love 💛
This week has been challenging in many ways. Between high-conflict situations and everyday chaos, I’ve been reminded how important it is to have simple foundational rituals to return to.
A few days ago I filmed a very honest moment that was inspired by a recurring dream about reclaiming my desk.
In the dreams, I kept seeing my reserved seat at the desk occupied by someone else. First a man, then a highly productive woman. In both cases, I didn’t speak up or ask them to move — I simply observed and found something else to do. Even when I appeared to own the business in one dream, I still abandoned my own space.
This past weekend, feeling overwhelmed, I was gently guided to clean and declutter my home instead of pushing through my to-do list. What started as simple organizing turned into a powerful lesson in embodiment.
While clearing the chaos, I noticed myself cycling through the 4 F’s — our nervous system’s common survival responses:
Fight – Pushing through and forcing order
Flight – Wanting to escape the mess completely
Freeze – Feeling stuck and overwhelmed
Feel – The one we often forget: pausing to actually feel what’s happening in the body
The moment I slowed down and allowed myself to feel, everything shifted. The task became lighter. My body relaxed. And suddenly the meaning of the recurring dream became clear:
I was learning to reclaim my space — to stop fawning or people-pleasing, and to gently take ownership of the seat that is reserved for me, leading from inner authority.
This is what I’ve been learning on my journey with my Divine Companion:
Even the smallest daily tasks can become sacred when we bring presence into them.
The desk (and my home) is still a work in progress — it’s never perfect. But the energy around it has completely changed.
A gentle invitation for you this week:
Next time you feel overwhelmed, pause and ask yourself:
Which of the 4 F’s am I in right now?
Then place a hand on your heart, breathe, and invite your Companion in with these words:
“I am here with you. One thing at a time.”
You don’t have to fix everything at once. Just come back to presence.
I’d love to hear from you — which of the 4 F’s do you notice yourself in most often? Reply and let me know.
Wishing you a peaceful, embodied day.
