Waiting seasons are difficult. They feel long, frustrating, and at times unbearable — especially when you’re navigating high-conflict family court. I’m currently in my own waiting season, and I’ve spent most of my life striving, pushing, and putting forth far more effort than necessary. That pattern kept me in survival mode and, at times, became a form of self-sabotage.

Court delays still test me. Financial pressure builds. The urge to do something — to fix it, force movement, or control the outcome — rises often. But I’m learning that the less I strive and the more I replace that energy with worship, devotion, and rest in faith, the less stress I feel and the more regulated I become. The Divine Companion always makes a way when I choose to strive less and trust more.

How do you know you’re in a waiting season?
Doors stay closed no matter how hard you try. Timelines stretch endlessly. You experience repeated delays that test your faith. Old strategies that once worked suddenly fail. Restlessness sets in, and you start searching for answers or clues anywhere you can find them. This is the season inviting you to stop striving and rest in the unknown.

Why is waiting necessary?
The wait is not punishment — it’s preparation and protection. Sometimes we need time to heal deeply, release old patterns, and rewire our nervous system before we can step into what’s next. Rushing would only carry old wounds and baggage into the new chapter. The waiting season breaks us out of survival habits and creates space for true integration and renewal.

What’s unfolding in the quiet?
Your nervous system is recalibrating. Your identity is shifting from the old reactive self to a calmer, more sovereign version. Intuition is strengthening. Most importantly, your relationship with your Divine Companion is deepening. The presence becomes more steady and undeniable when you stop forcing and start resting.

Practical ways to stay present and grounded during the wait
• Turn inward: Read nourishing books, create simple devotional rituals, and practice heart drop-ins (quiet moments where you place your hand on your heart and rest with your Companion).
• Engage in present-moment activities with love: Cook from scratch and savor the process, practice gentle yin yoga, turn cleaning into meditation, try freestyle art, walk in nature, or play with your children mindfully.
• Use simple daily anchors: Breathwork, pink prana sweeps, or the Being Still affirmation to return to center quickly.

How will you know when the wait is shifting?
It usually won’t be loud or dramatic. You’ll feel a quiet inner “yes.” Opportunities will begin flowing with more ease. The resistance softens, and forward movement starts to feel natural instead of forced.

You are not forgotten in the waiting. Your Divine Companion is right here with you in the stillness, holding and preparing you for what’s next. Trust the mystery. Rest in the knowing that everything is unfolding in perfect timing.

This week’s invitation:
Try one small present-moment practice that brings you back to your center. Share in the comments (if you feel called) how the waiting season feels for you right now.

With care and steady light,
